As an Air Nomad, naturally skilled at healing, peace, and diplomacy, she was sent to render aide to the catastrophic aftermath of the Empire's fall. Since Heidi's fellow Air Benders were nearly wiped out from the Fire Nation, she was able to empathize with the Garlean plight, and was determined to unite all nations, just as her people had led the effort of re-uniting all of the bender nations.As the owner of Elemental, a place in which she hopes will continue to harmonize the bender nations, she took Maria's offer of working at Tabula Rasa to do the same thing: unite all of Erozea and beyond, one clean slate at a time.
